1a. Introduction to Project Management Have you ever had to organise a party? Sounds easy, doesn’t it. All you have to do is set a date and invite some people. Well it is not that easy, is it? Actually, there is a huge amount of planning and organising to do if you want your party to be successful. Your planning will involve deciding on what type of party you want depending on the amount of money available and the organising will involve things like food, drinks, music, space, seating, utensils to eat and drink out of and so on. Essentially, organising a party is a small project and for the party to be successful all the elements of the project management process need to be carried out.
