Description

How does the levels of analysis framework help us to understand human behaviour?

The three dimensions of the levels of analysis are fundamental in helping us understand what impacts individuals, in three unique dimensions for an all encompassing way to deal with assessing human behaviour, these dimensions are biological, psychological and socio environmental. Seeing every one of the three dimensions can be advantageous from multiple points of view to help improve a person's life.

The biological dimension of investigation " examines how brain processes and other bodily functions regulate behaviour " (Passer, M. W., Smith, R. E., and Norris, K. 2016) p22. On a biological dimension we take a look at things, for example, hormones and biological chemistry. The Psychological dimension " searches for the causes of behaviour within the inner workings of our personality " (Passer, M. W., Smith, R. E., and Norris, K. 2016) p16. On the psychological dimension, factors, for example, feelings, schedules and inward inspirations or powers are considered. The socio ecological dimension of examination " examines how the social environmental and cultural learning influences our behaviour " (Passer, M. W., Smith, R. E., and Norris, K. 2016) p21. On this dimension we consider more physically outside components, for example, culture, companions and even things like articles that assistance or inconveniences us.

All levels are basic to separating and understanding human behaviour in various settings. The biological dimension has helped us in the contemplating the association among mind and conduct just as the job of hormones, biochemical factors in conduct and hereditary research.

The psychological dimension concentrates strongly watching identity form in a clinical setting and helps with understanding the effect early youth encounters have on an individual and the main boost of their conduct.

In conclusion the socio natural dimension encourages us comprehend distinctive societies and how they respond to various social improvements.(Passer, M. W., Smith, R. E., and Norris, K. 2016) p25.

How does the levels of analysis framework reflect on my experiences of learning and studying?

Starting university after a gap year was challenging and mentally exhausting, I didn't have a set timetable for anything. At the point when looked with a set out everyday calendar of when and how to study was very discouraging and demotivating. Anyway the Individual in society lectures helped me to comprehend that I have the ability to change how I approach and feel about anything. So how was I going to get amped up for the things I needed to do? I made friends in my tutorials and it was nice being able to discuss the tutorial work with each other. We would all go into the library and help each other with whatever questions we were stuck on and it was relieving to be able to talk to people that would help you if you missed out on any work.

A new environment can be extremely overwhelming and finding my first tutorial class was no different when walking into the tutorial room I was intimidated by all the students. The first tutorial exercise was to recognize things that obstruct and help us to think and study. One of the focuses raised was an assigned area to examine. This falls under the socio ecological examination. As I am an exceptionally visual individual a redundant situation unquestionably encourages me to think, study and helps retain information. So for the absolute first time I chose to make the library at UWS my study space, most days I sit in a similar stall as it makes me feel like I am focused and I know what I have to do after entering that learning space.

My sleeping patterns were completely out of shape, as well as my body. After my tutorials on Thursdays I would go for a jog in the evenings, this was discussed in the first tutorial as exercise releases endorphins, which are a natural stress reliever. After exercise I would complete set tasks for the next week and go to sleep at a reasonable time so that I was able to function and think properly for university Implementing new steps into my daily routine helped me feel better overall which correlates with the chemicals released in the body (Passer, Smith & Norris 2016). .
