Therefore, it's possible to correct interior without redesigning or destructons using textures and paterns on interior walls in spaces like homes and residence brings a perfectly fne design up to enviable levels. A room can be visually enlarged, deepened, broadened, heightened, narrowed, or lowered. Things like horizontal or vertcal lines, shapes, textures and paterns in fnishing materials can correct the interior space because they can have a signifcant impact on the size, proporton and mood of a space. It's possible to achieve great efects by combining knowledge of style, décor and designs. INTRODUCTION There are diferent approaches and tactcs to design of interior spaces. According to Brooker and Stone "the details of the design proposal, that is, the intmate detailed design of the individual elements can be described as the tactcs. This included the materials, surface fnishes texture, shape, form, and nature of the components and consttuents of the interiori (2010, p.112). According to Nebraske (1997), texture, material, lightng, and color creates our environment. It can be said that architectural forms, textures, materials, lightngs and colors all inject quality to a space (Ching, 2007). "Material and texture can make or break a designi (Gagg, 2012, p.164). Therefore, the use of material and texture to design interior are endless, however, the proper use of them will make a place more dramatc and the most subtle of efects. "The quality of the architecture will be determined by the skill of the designer in using and relatng these elements, both in the interior space and in the space around buildingi (Ching, 2007, p.33). Texture is a signifcant tactc. It directly afects the visual (perceptve) quality of the interior space and this makes it an important element to be considered in design.
