Strategies - Analyse function of missing word (verb, adverb…?). Use process of elimination. If you still don’t know the answer then read the sentence silently and choose which one sounds best. You should go as fast as you can during this section to leave time for section 7.

10 min Text Completion 12 questions 3 texts - 4 questions each, or 4 texts - 3 questions each Strategies - Same as above. Don’t read the entire text; just the sentence with the missing word. If you still don’t know, read the sentence above and below.

Part 7:

40 min Reading Comprehension 48 questions total 28 questions 7-10 single texts - 2-5 questions each 20 questions 4 double texts - 5 questions each Strategies - Read the title and determine document type. Then read the questions and scan the document for key words. You do not have time to read each document entirely.
