What is travel writing? Travel writing is a piece of writing written in the first person. It is used to describe a place in depth using language to create an image of the place in the readers mind. The writer uses their own opinion in the writing as opposed to writing a detached piece. 5 Top tips for travel writing 1. Keep it in first person 2.
