Judge : Please be seated Me : Please state your name. Ophelie : My name is Gregory Smith. Most of my friend just call me Greg. Constance : Where do you live ? Ophélie : I live in Chicago. Constance : So Gregory how old are you now ? Ophélie : I’m 20 years old. Constance : And how old were you when you met Mr Wayne Gacy? Ophélie : I met him when I was 10 years and he has worked at the hospital where I was for 5 years for rehabilitation after a car accident. Constance : How did he start to make contact with you ? Ophélie : He started to send me some letter, in the last one, he was asked me to come to his house because in had a summer job offer to me. Constance : Here is this letter. (écrire la lettre) Judge : This is going to be exhibit 1. Constance : So what did you do after received this letter ? Ophélie : I went to his home, we had a drink together and he explained to me the summer job. Then, he started to be very close to me, the scene started to be strange but I wasn’t afraid at this moment. Constance : After this drink, when things started to get stranger? Ophélie : He invited me to come to see the room where he had all his clown costume. After entered this room, he locked the door and started to become very violent. He grabbed my arm and I tried to escape. Constance : So how did you do ? Ophélie : I found a vase so I took it and I hit him with this vase. Then, he fall on the floor so I escaped by the window. Constance : So Monica Laurens can you confirm that this day you saw Gregory run out of the house of Mister Wayne Gacy ? Océane : Yes I confirm.

Constance : What did you do after escape ? Ophélie : I found the closer police station and I did a police report. Constance : Here is the police report Judge : This is going to be exhibit 2. Constance : So nothing happened after this police report ? Ophélie : Unfortunately it has been closed as a ‘non case’. Constance : Your Honour, no further questions.
