Provide friendly and welcoming service to customers while helping the team to meet deadlines and keeping the store presentable.

THE ROLE CHALLENGES The position of a Shop Assistant involves interacting with customers in the store and answering any questions that they may have. They also keep the store cleaned, stocked and fitted with promotional information. As the face of ALDI, the Retail Assistants must be friendly and polite especially so at the end of your shift or busy. You’ll be on your feet for most of the day, running from one task to another. For this you will need to be physically fit, and to love to push yourself. While you’re working a million miles an hour, you must have cash handling accuracy, therefore a good knowledge of basic mathematics is essential. Lastly, due to the nature of fluctuating shifts, the Retail Assistants will also need to be available and flexible to work any five days out of the week.

HOURS OF WORK A minimum of 2 shifts per week and can include working during evenings or weekends. All employees are offered 10 hours contract which can be increased later.
