Valentine’s Day essay

Valentine’s Day is a day of love and romance for some and a day of chocolate and cards for others. What I do find interesting about Valentine’s Day is how it came to be an opportunity for boyfriends and girlfriends to show their love on this special occasion. Although this holiday is also a great opportunity for candy and card companies, I considered it as a symbol of love and friendship. On Valentine’s Day, people express their love to their loved ones, boyfriends and girlfriends, by giving them lovely presents. However, it is also important not to forget to express your love to those other people who are also important in your life. This is the day to thank people, for being there in your life and being there with you when you needed them. It is also important to thank your parents for the love that they have given you. Thank them for making you the person that you are. Buy them gifts and write messages to them that would make them feel happy. In conclusion, sometimes it is better to equilibrate the commercial aspect of Valentine’s Day, and to remember that this day symbolizes love and friendship. Presents are very important if you are a mindful person but what is most important, in my opinion, is the intention of recalling people that you have true love fir them on this special date....
