Weaknesses H&M does not own any factories which excessively dependent on independent suppliers to procure its products from around 700 independent suppliers where primarily in Europe and Asia (Swedish Chamber of Commerce n.d.). Although the suppliers must follow the code of conduct setting by H&M while the suppliers corporate with H&M, but it still has lower control and observation for the production and suppliers’ factories. Furthermore, centres of product distributions of H&M are primarily existing in Europe and Asia. Hence, the distribution system of H&M is slow due to the far geographical distance to other markets across the world (Radeef 2017).
