2 Research Proposal Introduction Intermittent fasting is of three types that are alternate fasting, where someone fasts on different days. One day then is dedicated to a meager meal with approximately 500 calories (Wallis, 2020). The plan is 5:2, five regular meals for five days and two light meals the remaining days. Scientists have associated fasting with some positive results like metabolic switching. After some hours of fasting, probably ten to twelve hours, there is a change in the body in the number of glucose stored. The body thus starts burning ketones. The switch is significant; it causes an effect on the immune signals, growth factors, and many other chemicals. Fasting is an essential tool for reducing weight, calories, and impacts on the blood ketones. Background Information Intermittent fasting helps people reduce pounds. According to research and case studies, there was a resultant reduction of the women who weighed 100 pounds. It happened when they were subjected to 5:2 diets. The diet cut off 25% of their calories as they were progressing. The people who fasted at long last came out being healthier than the others who didn’t (Wallis, 2020). They are in complete control of the blood sugar and a significant reduction of fats in the body. In some other studies, intermittent fasting has caused a positive body reaction to insulin more than people in the calorie-cutting diet for overweight people. When the person reduces the fats, he or she can control the body and the number of fats that he is eating. Therefore intermittent fasting enables the person to become more effective. Cutting weight is the goal of every obese person. Thus the doctors should encourage people who do not have complications and those who are obese to obey the fasting rules. It will help them control their weight. Research Questions

3 What is the relevance of Intermittent fasting on the body and the blood? What is the role of fasting when it comes to reducing body weight? Hypotheses Null hypotheses Intermittent fasting helps in the control of the body in terms of health Alternative hypotheses Intermittent fasting does not help to control the body in terms of health Methodology Selection of participants and sample them (Vos et al., 2019). Separate them from the crowd so that the research can be effective. Separate the control group from the one that the treatment is being applied. It helps the study decide whether there is a difference in the research outcome and then use the antidote to the sample groups. There are no sample groups that should know the treatment they are getting and why. Therefore, the sample treatments should be applied at random to avoid biasness. Collect data for the sample groups for twelve weeks to analyze the data alter (Baeck et al., 2019). The instrument of use will be urine. The data can be used to view the difference in the samples. Which sample adhered to the treatment fully? Then, after the data is collected, it is analyzed, and the results are drawn from the data. Make some conclusions on the data analyzed. Statistical software like SPSS and R can be used for analyses to bring out the best results. Perform T-tests for the treatments on the groups to analyze the difference between the two groups. The data is concluded depending on the results that the data has obtained. The data should be reported in tables and graphs with relevant explanations of the outcomes. Then, the
