Interests and Passions Wouldn’t it be great if you could design a job doing what you love to do? You would probably also be very good at it. List everything you can here and think hard about it. There may be some hidden gems for you! 1. What do you love to do generally, (hobbies, interest, pastimes)? My hobbies are gaming on pc, going out with friends, play soccer, swim. 2. What do you like to do at work? I like to talk with my friends at work, but in a dream job I’m sure I would fall in love with the content and the things I’ll create. 3. What was your favorite job? I never had a favorite job actually; I all did was out of necessity. But my dream job would be doing marketing for any gaming studio 4. Would you call any of the items above a passion? IE; Would you be so excited about this that you can’t wait to get to work every day? Of course, I’m passionate about gaming and if I were to work around that industry I believe that I would be excited every day. Experience & Education Here is where you can leverage expertise and skills you have developed over your life. Maybe it was volunteering, or coaching. Maybe you have travelled extensively or speak more than one language. It is all relevant! 5. What jobs have you had? OAGN 122

2/4

I done a lot of cleaning jobs in Canada, also I work at Walmart doing customer service and I worked year in brazil as an office assistant. 6. What industries have you worked in? Retail 7. What did you go to school for – how can you leverage that? I’ve done one year of university in Brazil my major was computer science and I dropped. Here in Canada I’m on my last semester of my two-year program, Marketing. I speak Portuguese and English and I also understand a bit of Spanish. 8. What do You want to do? I want gent experience in Marketing and in the future have my own business What Does the Market Look Like 9. What is the current demand for the career you are seeking? Do some serious research here. Google jobs in your field, search online job boards for current postings etc. I signed up for Indeed email and there are PLENTY of jobs posting requiring marketers. Every day I get a lot of emails of companies recruiting marketers (but they all require experience)

Long and Short Term Career Goals 10. Where do the topics mentioned above lead you? Is there a particular career path that could capitalize on your interest, experience and skills!

Long term goal - Where, specifically, do you want to do … one day? What is your personal vision? o Goals should be Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Realistic, Tangible o Again, consider roles, sectors or industries I want to be a marketing director. Also have my own business. Two areas that I love are games and food.

Achieving what short-term goals will get you there? Do you need to take another job to get experience, earn a living while you are in school, find a mentor, save some money, wait for your kids to get older? OAGN 122
