August: The company entered into an agreement to acquire PartPay Limited, a New Zealandbased instalment plan company, and an equity interest in QuadPay Inc, a United States-based "buy now, pay later" company. 2018 - January: the company changed its trading code to Z1P. 2017 - November: The company changed its name from ZipMoney Limited to Zip Co Limited. April: The company entered into a strategic partnership with Retail Directions to implement a digital wallet for use at in-store point-of-sale locations. 2016 - September: The company completed its acquisition of Pocketbook for a consideration of $6 million, with up to an additional $1.5 million subject to performance.
