Title: Keeping animals in zoos has both advantages and disadvantages.

(essay) Nowdays, a lot of animals live in zoos. But many people wonder if this is right or wrong. This essay will present some pros and cons of this problem. In the first place, people who decide to go to zoos have the possibility to see exotic animals and can also see how they daily live and behave in their typical habitat. In general schools organise trips in zoos to show to children how these rare animals live. Thereby, zoos are born with the aim of educating children. Secondly, it is a well-know fact that in many of these places, animals live in good conditions. In other words, they do not starve because they have food and water and the addestrators take care of them. Moreover, animals are safe and there is not the risk that poachers kill them, wich usually do when animals are in their free natural habitat. In addition animals live as close to the natural habitat as possible. On the other hand, keeping animals in zoos could be harmful for them and that because they are forced to live in a unnatural habitat. There is not enough living space in the zoos, when often makes animals unhappy and restless. Secondly, animals should live in freedom, because it is their natural habitat. Moreover, in many cases the animals are obliged to make a show for the spectators even they are not agree. In other words they are not free to live how they would and the are subjected to stressful situations and living according to addestrator’s rules. In conclusion, it seems that keeping wild animals in zoos is more harmful than benefical for them, for this reason I am completely opposed to still keep opened the zoos and I would be agreed to close them. Finally I would suggest to all the people who are interested on wild animals, to journey in countries where they live or to see informations and watch videos on Internet....
