Description

What were the reasons the bomb should have been used on Japan? The Japanese bombing was expected to end with Japan surrendering to the war. President Truman approved the nuclear bomb order against Japan because he had already made efforts to gently put together the atomic bomb through the announcement of Potsdam, but Japan refused to respond. Truman's decision to drop an atomic bomb allowed Japan to make concessions if the United States was defeated. In any case, Truman gave them two chances and they didn't give up. Therefore, on the fine 6th of 1945, the United States devastated Hiroshima, Japan, and three days later, in 1945, they bombed Nagasaki, Japan. As a result of these opportunities, Japan surrendered, and the war ended.

What were the reasons the bomb should not have been used on Japan? The bomb should not have been dropped on Japan simply because it killed many innocent people. It caused widespread destruction, and the delayed effect of the bomb killed more people. An estimated 90,000 to 146,000 people have died in Hiroshima, and 39,000 to 80,000 people have died in Nagasaki. However, only half of these victims died shortly after the bomb was dropped. Radiation killed more people in the weeks and months that followed. The consequences of the explosion lasted for decades, and those who survived never recovered from the devastation it caused.

Some may argue that the United States was desperate to end the war, but there were other options to reduce damage and result in the deaths of thousands of people. For example, a small bomb could have surrounded the city while reducing damage to the city. They may have done it for noble reasons, but when they killed all the innocent people and left behind those who were homeless and scared, they were robbed of goodness....
