I want to be a social worker to give a voice to the voiceless and help the helpless I want to help a child out of a bad situation and why I chose this career is because I seen first-hand child abuse and wanted to help and there is not enough social workers here in Chicago and I want to give a child the help they needed and there are a lot of things that can impact a child negatively and I want to be one less people to leave them. it's is my dream to help kids to be the best they can be I want to inspire them and I heard from kids that went through the foster care system that there wasWer social workers that didn't care and they felt alone but I always wanted to work with kids I wanted to be a pediatrician or teacher or own my own daycare but the one thing I'm sure is that I want to have kids. I'm not sure where I want to work, maybe the Boys & Girls Club or Lakeside Community committee or Illinois Department of Human Services....
