.Discussion: Movement of Critical Thinking in Real Life 1-3 , Hello to all After serving in the military for over twelve years, and trying to find a good job after leaving the military, who would have thought that I would need a piece of paper to make my life easier? I have always wanted a great future and thought with my experience in the military it would get me there. I always thought that having a good leadership mindset, that those skills, plus my experience, would be sufficient for job interviews. I am a very upbeat and a positive person after I have had my breakfast in the morning! In each of my jobs I am always looking for more, a better and bigger opportunity. I always thought going to college wasn’t for me and it was . way too late to even start While in my current job, my co-worker and my girlfriend have pushed me to start the process to get my degree. My girlfriend and I have talked multiple times about me starting school. She has a Bachelor of Science in Management with an emphasis component in Executive Management, and she is currently working on her Graduate Certificate in Accounting even though she really wants to work on her MBA, but that was going to take too long. Her sister has a master’s in education or leadership. They have always told me I should go back to school and . major in something that would highlight my military experience SNHU was in my top five choices of schools, but ultimately, it was the school that offered better opportunities. When I the different schools I was considering, I never received a call back from any of them, or the few that I did speak with, they seemed uninterested, unpersuasive and no motivating, but SNHU, nailed it! I was in constant communication with the Admission’s person at least once or twice a week to see how I was doing and what week can do .in the future Interestingly, I thought I wouldn’t be that good, but I currently just passed my first online class with an A. Currently, I’m only taking one class per term, but I would like to increase it to at least two classes per term once I’m more comfortable. While I am work on my bachelors, I am also thinking about declaring a minor. My girlfriend and family keep me in the right direction. There are people from work that ask me what I do after work, and I tell them that I am working on bachelors. I also think some of them might be starting SNHU too! I am looking to change my . way of thinking to see what the future holds for me and how I can make myself better...
