ABSTRACT

This study is conducted for the purpose of finding out solutions on how to minimize plastic waste. Our study constructs a simple circuit using plastic bottles, turning them into usable and efficient table fans. This study may help the world’s problem on minimizing plastic bottle waste volume. We are aiming to produce a product that would be helpful in communities that have high amounts of plastic waste. Using a battery and a plastic bottle, we will produce an experimental table fan.

CHAPTER I

A. Introduction and its background

A recycled table fan is an efficient product for recycling plastic bottles and turning them into more useful objects. The purpose of this experiment is to introduce our group’s design of a recycled table fan. With the rise in global warming and increasing pollution levels, it is becoming essential to find a viable alternative on recycling plastics. The fans should be suitable for portable use.

B. Statement of the problem This Project aims to answer this questions: 

What benefits would this project bring?

Is the product of the project cost-effective?

Would this be project be effective in solving waste problems?

C. Formulation of the Hyphothesis 

There will be benefit in making a recycle fan, because it will help our economy.

Making a recycle fan is also fun

Making a recycle fan can reduce the risk of global warming

Making a recycle fan can also be a benefit in making money.

D. Significance of the Study A fan is a machine used to create air flow, typically a gas such as air. The fan consists of a rotating arrangement of vanes or blades which act on the fluid. The rotating assembly of blades and hub is known as an impeller, a rotor, or a runner. Usually, it is contained within some form of housing or case. This may direct the airflow or increase safety by preventing objects from contacting the fan blades.

E. Scope and Delimitation The limitation of this activity is if whether this product would be effective in terms of material durability. Also, one of the project’s limitations is that whether it would be effective in terms of numbers of people would 1 product benefit

F. Definition of Terms 

Electric Motor- is an electrical machine that converts electrical energy into mechanical energy.

Electric Generator- is a device that converts mechanical energy obtained from an external source into electrical energy as the output

Electrical circuit - is a network consisting of a closed loop, giving a return path for the current.

Hydraulic Motor- is a mechanical actuator that converts hydraulic pressure and flow into torque and angular displacement.

Inventive- having the a bility to create or design new things or to think originally

Machine- a piece of equipment with moving parts that uses power such as electricity to do a particular job

Mechanism- is a combination of rigid bodies so arranged that the motion of one compels the motion of the others, according to the law depending on the nature of the combination

Possession - the state of having, owning, or controlling something.

Probes - physically explore or examine with the hands or an instrument.

Reiterate- say something again or a number of times, typically for emphasis or clarity.

Upcycle- reuse in such a way as to create a product of a higher quality or value than the original.

A. Review of related literature The most recent electronic searches were done in April 2012. We also checked the reference lists of relevant articles and the websites of relevant national and international organizations, and consulted with researchers and policy makers with experience in strategies to manage heat waves to identify additional studies. The titles and abstracts from each search were checked independently by two review authors. The full text articles that we retrieved were checked independently by at least two authors for their relevance and for references to potentially eligible studies. B.

Related Studies The Electric table fan it is like an Electric fan. It is a made of Plastic Battle, Wire,

Dynamo, Wood and Switch. you can use this things when you feel hot, or in case of emergency, like when there’s no electricity at home, and you can also use this thing to save energy. It is not substitute for electric fan because it’s not moving from left to right or right to left. you can use this anywhere and it is easily to make.

We learn to make a fan by using recycle materials and it help to save community. It is not substitute for electric fan because it’s not moving from left to right or right to left. The Electric table fan is easy to make and easy to take wherever you go. They won’t cool a large space as

well as electric fan but are great to make you cool off. Here is what you need to consider when making electric table fan.

CHAPTER III

A Subject of the Study We researched about a project that would imply the science of physics and a product that would be helpful in a community. We came up of the product recycled "Electric Table Fan". The design of the product is a simple series circuit that involves a switch, battery, and plastic blades that were cut off a plastic bottle. Through the research on youtube, we came up with this project.

B Procedure By using empty coca cola or sprite or any soda plastic bottles we can make fans,Its simple and easy and take less time to build, We require 6 or 9 V DC Toy motor and Power source you may use the battery or you can use the old Mobile phone charger having output of 5 V was very effective power source,And you may use tissue paper Rolls or PVC Pipes as holders or stand for the fan and you may build base with several materials like Styrofoam or card board sheets. It produces cool air and t requires less than P100 to build and use.
