Finding Harvard Business Review Articles from a Citation To find a Harvard Business Review article from a citation follow the following step-by-step instructions. 1. Go to the York University Libraries' homepage, type Harvard Business Review into the Omni search bar and click Search.

2. Click Harvard Business Review in the first record in the search results list.

3. In the database record, scroll down to the View Online section. Click the EBSCOhost Business Source Complete link.

4. Once on Business Source Complete - Harvard Business Review landing page, you can either search or browse for the article in need. Searching 1. Click Searching within this publication

2. On the search screen, the title Harvard Business Review is pre-populated. In the second field enter the title of the article in quotation marks “does management really work”, select “Title” from the dropdown menu, click Search.

The article record is displayed with a link to its PDF full text.

Browsing 1. Go back to step 4, on the Business Source Complete - Harvard Business Review landing page, look under All issues and Articles on the right side of the screen. Browse for the article by selecting the year the article was published in, i.e., 2012, then select the relevant month as indicated in the citation, i.e., November. The page will refresh to show a list of articles.

2. On the result page, scroll through the list of articles until you come across the title as mentioned in the citation. The page numbers should match, in this case page 76-82. For this particular title you need to page over to page 2 of the result list, which shows up as item 21. PDF full text can be downloaded by clicking on the PDF icon.
