3-3 Journal: Excel Planning Process I believe that a bar chart will be most appropriate to visualize the numerical data. The reason that the bar chart would be best is because it makes it easier to compare yearly data with each category. As well as, to visualize the projected growth that the company is looking for. In these bar charts I will provide appropriate cell formatting and column and row alignments. In addition to the bar chart, I will also be including a line graph to visualize the sales growth the company is looking for over the next five years as instructed by the prompt provided. I also believe that a table should be used to display the current sales and projected sales because the prompt is requiring category and total and the use of a table best display that information in an organized manner. The audience I will be addressing will be business managers, so I will make sure the formatting and labeling are professional by making sure that they are consistent throughout the Excel document. The formulas will be accurate in their calculations. The font and font size used will be consistent and organized throughout the document. This will ensure that the document is presented in a business-like manner. In addition, I plan on using currency number formatting. I will not be including the decimals because the numbers provided are integers and do not require the use of decimals....
