Part (1): Short answer Questions (12 marks in total) 1.Consider a local outdoor furniture shop that has been in operation in a Sydney suburb for over ten years. Apply Porter’s Five Force model, and explain how the Internet has increased or decreased the competition for this shop? Justify your answer by explaining the impact of the Internet on each of the five forces for this shop. (4 marks) 2. Zero 2 Hundred is a dance college based in Sydney. Zero 2 Hundred uses social media to connect and communicate with its students. Students have access to computer networks and free wi-fi in the college. Recently, Zerc 2 Hundred hired several college students as casual receptionists, responsible for serving other students, online bookings for college accommodation, online billing, and administrative duties including data entry and member correspondence. These new staff do not have the computer knowledge necessary for information security. The college's information security manager discovered that some students who live in college accommodation were visiting websites dedicated to pornography, hate crime, illegal activities, and violence. She prepared a list of the students and their browsing histories and gave the list to college management. When some of the students were punished, they objected to the monitoring, claiming that they should have a right to privacy. A. Based on the nature of the business of Zero 2 Hundred, give two examples of how the college would be vulnerable to security threats. (2 marks)
