The problem in this story is that the other members wanted to stop the club’s lifesaving station activities. And as for me, this is the real problem because the other members only want to enjoy life knowing that as a lifesaving station their responsibility is to save lives not to only think about themselves. There is a one part of the story that truly reflects their personality as a person, that part is when the club was in chaos and they realized that a half-drowned people were rescued, and they are so much dirty. If you think about it deeply, why do they care first on what might happen to the club and not the people who were rescued? It means, some of the members thought that the most important in their life is the club, their happiness and their normal social life.

2. What do you think should be done to solve it? 

I think this problem could be solve if the other members realized and reflect to themselves that what they did was entirely wrong, though it is not too late for a change. Because things will never work out if they will close their hearts and mind upon the members who want to rescue other people. They must understand the purpose of their lifesaving station, it is not merely for selfhappiness because they have a big responsibility to shoulder on.

3. What is the connection of the moral lesson of this story to your journey as a student? 

The moral lesson of this story to my journey as a student is I must not neglect my responsibility and of course one of my ways is to study hard in order for me to attain all of my dreams. As I’ve walk on the path along the shore trying to reach my goals in life, I must also not forget the fact that I have God, my family and friends who willingly support me whatever my decision is as a student. Furthermore, as a future nurse, it is my job to help other people and that’s why I am trying hard enough to finish my studies for me to do those things....
