Acct 205 Final Exam When: December 13, 2021 Duration Allowed to Write the Exam: 3 Hours Start Time of Exam: Must start the exam anytime between 5:00 pm to 6:30 pm EST (Eastern Standard Time). You will have 3 hours to write the exam started anytime during this time range. Location: Online using the EXAMITY software within WileyPlus Recommendation: Use Google CHROME as your browser. WileyPlus is usually more stable on the internet browser. If CHROME does not work for you try FIREFOX. Do not use SAFARI or MICROSOFT EXPLORER. TECHNICAL ISSUES DURING THE EXAM: Email me at [email protected] immediately. Your Webcam & Microphone must remain on during the entire exam. DO NOT EXIT EXAMITY until you are completed your Exam. Format: This is a CLOSED BOOK exam using EXAMITY and WILEYPLUS Software. Any solutions that appear to have been COPIED FROM A TEST BANK SOLUTION or ANOTHER STUDENT will result in ZERO on the Final Exam and a Course FAILURE.

EXAM SOFTWARE INSTRUCTIONS & RULES DURING THE EXAM Set-up Examity: By No Later than Monday December 6th, you must set-up your Examity Profile and Test your Computer functionality. If you do not do this by December 6th then you will receive ZERO on the final exam. If you have trouble completing this task then you must contact me by no later than December 6th 10am. Examity requires You to have a working WebCam & Microphone on your computer. Please follow these instructions.

Login to WileyPlus.com into our Course (just like for your homework or reading your text) Click on the EXAMITY Module (after the Chapter 8 WileyPLus Module)



Click Launch Examity. Proceed to complete the instructions on every screen in EXAMITY:





1. Step 1 – Set up your TIME ZONE (Easter Standard Time) and SAVE this change 2. Step 2 – upload a government issued Photo ID or Student Card with a Photo (Note: If you loaded the wrong picture you can go back to the profile set up page and use the "use a different image" option. 3. Step 3 – Create your Security Challenge Question answers. 4. Step 4 – follow instructions to create your Digital Signature 5. Step 5 – Run all Systems Checks (NOTE: Use Chrome; Only allowed 1 screen/monitor on your desk during the exam; No Tablets, iPads or Smart Phones) 6. Clear your desk and the surrounding area Stay connected to a power source No phones or headphones No dual monitors No leaving your seat You must be alone in the room No Talking Your Webcam, speakers, and microphone must remain ON throughout the exam You must stay in view of the Webcam for the duration of the exam You can use a Handheld Calculator (not a cell phone) You can use BLANK Scrap paper but before you start to write on it you must show the Front & Back of the page to your Web Camera. 12. You can have a clear glass with a beverage on your desk.

EXAM FORMAT & CONTENT: Chapters Covered:  

Heavy content from Chapters 7 and 8. At least 40% of the exam grades. Some content from Chapters 1,2,4,5,and 6 (nothing from Chapter 3).

46 questions total 90 marks total 180 minutes max (2 minutes per mark)

Question Types:    

Some Multiple choice (approximately 24 questions; worth 1 mark) Only 5 marks from short answer questions. No use of Excel or your Textbook or any other applications during this exam aside from Examity & WileyPlus. Close every other Application on your Computer. Many Exercise type questions (similar to the WileyPlus assignments you have completed throughout the term and similar to Exercises and Brief Exercises at the back of every Chapter in your textbook) (approximately 10 questions worth up to 5 marks each)

Course Grade:  

The exam is worth 40% of your final course grade. You cannot pass this course if you do not earn at least 50% on the weighted average grades for Test 1 (15% weight) Test 2 (20% weight) and Exam (40% weight).

How to Study for this Exam:  Review ALL the handouts I gave you in class and the online Chapter 7 and 8 handouts in Learning Materials.  Practice and/or review all the exercises noted on these handouts. Especially Chapter 7 & 8 since over 40% of the exam. If additional practice questions are wanted please use the Brief Exercises and Exercises at the back of each Chapter.  For Multiple Choice practice questions go to the WileyPlus online Chapter Modules where they have posted some multiple choice practice tests....
