Dear Students, Re: Final examinations Semester Two 2020 Exam

Your end of semester assessment will be held during the official examination period 16 Nov to 4 December. Please note the final examinations (also referred to as the Alternative Assessment Task/ department) for BFW 3651 are as follows:

Exam Time:

2.00 PM (Melbourne/Australia time)

Exam Time:

11.00 AM 2.00 PM (Malaysian Time) 2 hour and 10 minutes (Exam) + 30 minutes (to download & upload exam)

Duration of examination:

You are required to submit your completed exam paper within the 2 hours 40 minutes of the official commencement of this assessment task 2.00 PM to 4.40 PM (Malaysia time). This includes reading, downloading, and uploading time.

Exam platform:

The examination paper will be uploaded in the Unit BFW 3651 Moodle site

Assessment

For the PDF document, you complete your answers in the document and upload the document back into Moodle.

Hurdle requirement :

This assessment accounts for 50% of the total in the unit and has a hurdle requirement of 40% to pass the unit.

1. You are highly recommended to submit your answers via PDF. If you don't have Microsoft Office on your devices, you can access it at this link https://www.office.com/ Kindly use your My Monash Login to access the site. 2. How do I access the Exam in BFW 3651? MOODLE: At the scheduled date/time of your exam, you can access the examination from a folder on the unit Moodle site labeled “BFW 3651 Semester 2 Final Examination”. The exam will appear in MS Word format. To commence, you need to download the MS Word copy of the exam from this folder and then enter your answers into the document, ensuring that you regularly save the file every 5-10 minutes. Before the end of the scheduled time, you need to upload your completed file (PDF) through the Moodle submission process.

3. What if I encounter technical issues while completing the examination? If you encounter a technical issue whilst completing the examination, please immediately contact the Lecturer of the unit via K.Sivakumar@ monash.edu

4. What if I am unwell on the day of the exam? Students must use the online system to apply for special consideration (refer to the following link for details of how to apply). Please note that special consideration may be granted but is not guaranteed. Take careful note of the specific grounds upon which special consideration may be granted.
