2. How do Rizalista groups view Jose Rizal and other national heroes? The Rizalistas are a group of people who worship Jose Rizal, the Philippines' national hero, as a divine being and deity. The Rizalistas, like other religious groups, have different sects whose beliefs may differ but who all believe in Jose Rizal. These sects have different founders, were founded on different dates, and are scattered throughout the archipelago. Adarnista or the Iglesiang Pilipina, Sambahang Rizal, Iglesia watawat ng lahi, and Suprema de la iglesia de laciudad Mistica de Dios inc. are some of the registered groups of Rizalistas today. 3. What are the similarities between Jesus Christ and Rizal as seen by the millenarian groups? Rizalistas conclude that there are obvious similarities between Jose Rizal's life and that of Jesus Christ. Some of them even believe Rizal was the incarnation of Christ. The traits and characteristics that are similar include: 1. Jose Rizal is the messiah of the Philippines, just as Jesus Christ is the messiah of Israel. 2.
