Creative Confidence, Chapter 4 - From Planning to Action

3 examples 1. These ideas relevant my work in terms of how we do the observation with the things that are happening. My job is to provide service to the employees by driving them around and dropping them off to the location they wanted to go. These ideas are applicable to the problems that I’m having with my job. Since we are having problems on having too many people calling to setup a ride and not being able to talk to all of them at the same time. They decided to make a mobile application for it. It makes it easier to setup a ride and easier for us drivers to know the estimated time of arrival to the location because the app uses the GPS to see the real-time location and estimate the time and distance. 2. Their ideas are relevant to how I did my projects with my previous class in school. Using creativity is a good way of presenting a project. But before I did all my project. With my previous project in school, I have to make a simple program that would help a store sell their products online. Before doing the project, I decided to conduct a survey to my end users to be able to know what they wanted for the program to have. It helped me think of the ideas that should be implemented with my project. 3. It was also relevant to what I did with my previous job. I was asked to make a step-by-step instructions on how we build the item that we are building to be able to help the newly hired people to understand how we assemble things. I personally don’t know anything about the assembly procedure but I had to be an observant of the assembly process to be able to make the assembly instructions. Observation is a part of the planning procedure especially when you’re trying to innovate something and make it easier to do or built. You have to experience it with yourself to be able to think and come up with new ideas on how it can be done easier....
