Task: Your individual assignment will be presented in the form of an essay. Topic: What can be understood by the concept of “global health”? Select a particular health issue to illustrate the discussion. In addressing this topic you may care to consider the following: 

Identifying some of the differing definitions of global health presented in the readings



Does “global health” differ from international health”?



Global health as a response to a sustainable development goal (e.g. maternal, child or reproductive health, infectious diseases, environmental risk)



Differentiating between the roles of government and non-government actors in dealing with world health problems
