1. What is 'clothing'? Materials made into garments to be worn on our bodies such as; tops, bottoms, outerwear, under garments etc. These are garments made to clothe our nakedness and keep us warm. 2. What is 'fashion'? Fashion is a form of art, with fashion we can express ourselves through the way we dress and look. For some it is an interpretation of their identity, an outlet that allows you to be whoever you want to be. 3. What is 'costume'?

Costumes include garments, accessories, footwear, hairstyles etc. They are worn to usually imitate a character from a particular culture or historical period and usually persons from television.

4. When did 'fashion' begin? Fashion is said to have begun in early 1600’s, this was during the Victorian times, when people really began to put work into how they looked and dressed. Fashion became very important, as it was a prominent way to show what social class you belonged to.

5. What was before? Why? Fashion before was potato sacks or leaves, very simple and basic. Because it was not important in the beginning, it was mainly about keeping warm and covering your nakedness.

6. Is fashion everywhere the same? No

7. If not, what does it depends on? Because it depends on the culture and the style of the people. Different people have their ways of dressing according to their culture. Each culture around the world has their own specific way they like to dress, it might be similar to others, but not necessarily the same.

8. What are the mechanisms of 'fashion'? The mechanisms of fashion are aspect that makeup fashion. Some mechanisms of fashion are; change(relationship with fashion), self-expression, trends, designers, fashion week, social media etc.

9. What is 'design'? A design is a plan that enables a designer to put together ideas for the final work. Usually in fashion they are sketches, which is an important part of the designing process. 10.

What are 'trends'

Is what is most popular during that time, usually everyone is talking about it. Trends are never constant, they come and go all the time. Trends nowadays are influenced by social media and important celebrities....
