How have processes of economic globalization impacted you and your life? How have the forces of cultural globalization shaped your cultural practices? How have the social and demographic forces of globalization affected your life? How have the forces of political globalization affected you as a citizen?

Due Sunday, January 31, 2021 (by 11:59 pm on Omnivox) Write a personal essay which critically examines how the economic, cultural, political and demographic forces of globalization have affected and shaped you and your family. You should examine the positive and negative aspects of globalization. In the end you should evaluate and enumerate both the positive and negative aspects of globalization.    

Since this is a personal essay, your use of the personal pronoun “I” is not unexpected. Your writing should still have the form of an essay, with an introduction (introduce the topic with the thesis your essay will argue) Two to five paragraphs which develop your thesis on globalization with further explanations, details, facts, stories etc. You should have a conclusion which summarizes your thesis.

Please pay attention to the rubric, which requires that you deal with:    

Your essay should be typed, using 12 point font, and double spaced. Please include your name and course number on the assignment and place the essay in the drop box before the due time and date. The essay should be approximately 800 words.
