CSN Charleston Bookstore 6375 W Charleston Blvd Las Vegas, NV 89146
Dear CSN: As a first-year student at College of Southern Nevada, I required textbooks for my courses during the spring semester. The customer service I received when purchasing my books was extremely poor. My needs were not met with my experience at the CSN Bookstore.
I ordered a textbook from the Charleston bookstore. I received an email saying it would be shipped in 3 -7 business days. A week passed and I still had not received my textbook. I contacted the librarian at the Charleston campus, she was rude and vague when she explained that they had lost my textbook. I asked for them to cancel my item, that I would get it from a different provider. I ended up having to go through a lengthy process of having to ship it back with my own money, even though I was told they were going to cancel my order.
I think we can both agree that the customer service I received was inappropriate. Having to ship back an item that was supposed to be canceled was very inconvenient on my end. The librarian I spoke with had made no effort to help me in the situation.
The next time I purchase from the CSN bookstore I would like a different employee to speak with. I would like for there to be a more effective process for other students if they are found in a situation like this.
