SCENARIO In order to complete this assignment you are required to research two contrasting businesses (profitable and non-profitable). The profitable business has been already given to you “Mercdes Benz”. However you will need to decide upon your own non-profitable business (Charity, NHS, Schools, Colleges, etc) you should speak to your tutor for further guidance. TASK Your task is to research the full history of both companies and gather organisational charts or draw your own based on your research findings. You will need to show that you understand how businesses are organised to achieve their purposes. You will also need to provide evidence to demonstrate that you know the impact of two contrasting economic environment on businesses. This will involve researching economic data of two different economies therefore you will look at the UK and another country in which the businesses operate. Please make sure you have conducted all your research before you answer the questions below. You will also need to demonstrate that you know how political, legal and social factors impact on the two contrasting businesses. You will also focus on how the economic environment affects the two businesses. You are required to compare the two contrasting economic environments in the UK and within another country.
