Tuberculin syringe l. sterile dressing m. cotton balls in a container (dry and wet) n. cord clamp o. micropore tape p. tape measure q. I pair of sterile gloves

Planning 1 r. Baby’s scale s. Alcohol lamp t. 2 pcs. Of test tube u. Benedicts solution v. ammonia w. acetic acid solution x. 70% alcohol y. Providine iodine 10% z. Hydrogen peroxide aa. Ophthalmic ointment I.

Procedure

1.Upon arrival at client’s home, greet and introduce self and state the purpose of the visit 2.Place bag on a flat surface with paper lining (the clean side must be out and the folded part touching the table) 3.Place the straps of the bag beneath the bag. 4.Open the bag. Take out the plastic linen and place over the paper lining. 5.Take out the towel, apron and soap and place on one corner of plastic lining. 6.Do hand washing. 7.Put on apron (right side out and wrong side in) 8.Place on one corner of plastic linen all thing needed for specific case on the plastic linen Example: thermometer, betadine, waste paper bag 9.Place paper waste bag outside the plastic linen 10.Close the bag. 11.Proceed to specific nursing care or treatment

12.after the procedure, clean all the equipment using 70% alcohol 13.Discard disposable materials to a proper container 14.Clean all reusable items 15.Open the CHN bag and return all articles in their proper places 16.Remove apron folding away from your body with soiled side folded inwards and clean side out and put inside the plastic and also the towel used 17.Clean and fold linen plastic (if soiled, discard) and replace with another one Procedure 18.Plastic inside the bag 19.Make a post visit conference of matters relevant to health care and client. 20.Document procedure and other relevant data 21.Make an appointment for the next visit (date and time) TOTAL SCORE:
