Solutions to your Dilemma

Good afternoon Hal, upon your request to the several dilemmas that you are currently facing while working on the FBA accounts are the consequence of poor communication and practice skills by your superiors, they have caused you and your team to not correctly execute the job which has compromised the accounts with biased results. You must now decide on a proper plan of action that will result in questioning whether or not to stay loyal to Erhardt Company or report this issue to the appropriate organizations. Facts and Assumptions As you are conducting these audits, you are noticing that FBA management has become hostile and threatening not to cooperate with your requested audit procedures which have made it difficult to accurately deliver reliable results. If you decide to bring these issues up to Frank and Brad, be sure to have concrete evidence of the malpractices of the previous audits done by FBA, by comparing your numbers to theirs and introducing solutions that will help with finishing the audit. By reporting your superiors and FBA management to the American Institute of Certified Accountants for the improper procedures, missing paperwork and inaccurate accounts you are showing the integrity of your work and the ethical standpoint of misusing your platform. However, this can cause other staff members not to trust you and create an environment that is not suitable for you. Recommendation As stated above, the best solution is for you to bring up the problems to your superiors regarding the current issues with the previous audits done by FBA. You must request advice from your direct superiors and keep them updated with any information to fix the problem and find the best solution. If FBA and its associates wish to not fully cooperate with the required and proper procedures the company shall have no other choice but to drop them. If by any chance the first solution doesn’t necessarily fix your dilemma you must report your superiors and FBA to the AICA and SEC....
