Concept formation – variety of information form thoughts and ideas

Figure ground - differentiating foreground and background. E.g. figure-text & ground-paper

Sensory processing – sensation or sense, detecting and interpreting sensation

Depth perception - relative distance b/w objects.

Topographical orientation – determining location of object e.g. walking to kitchen,

Body scheme – awareness of physical & internal awareness

Stereognosis – without vision, ability to identify object size, shape and weight of familiar obj.

Generalisation –previously learned concept & behaviour to variety new situation, skill and performance

Kinesthesia – excursion and direction of joint movement

Form constancy – recognise obj. same in various environment, position & size

Position in space – internal/external information, aware of the place, body in space

Praxis –carry out sequential motor acts as part of an overall plan

Spatial relations – determine position of object relative to other obj. e.g. judge distance, separate obj.

Arousal – alertness and responsiveness to stimulus Visual closure- ability fill in missing parts of visual stimulus

Spatial operation – mentally manipulate, position of obj, various e.g. child and puzzle

Proprioception – sensory information about joint position

Reflexes involuntary muscle response sensory input

Visual motor integration – coordinating eyes with body movement in activity

Bilateral integration – interaction between both sides of the body in a smooth and refined manner

Fine coordination – using small muscle for controlled movement, object manipulation Gross coordination - large muscle group controlled, goal directed movements Postural alignment – biological anatomical position of each body parts, postural control - movement
