While breakdancing consist of moves executed to the ground, hip hop moves are executed standing up. Also, breakdance is defined as the breaks in the music, it also includes movements of martial arts and gymnastics. Contrary, Hip Hop movements involves movements such as breaking, spinning, popping, locking, up rock, boogaloo, etc. The comparison that the video made to Jazz s that they comparing Jazz and Breakdancing, defining in simple words that Breakdancing is like jazz but with improving movements, only taking the basic steps and using the imagination to create the steps. The similarities in Jazz and Hip Hop are that the music, even thou. Jazz is slower and in certain rhythm that Hip Hop is more a street dance and its music is more intense and louder. The similarities compared to what we have seen in the class is that the Jazz was the first dance and then Hip Hop and Breakdancing are the evolution of it. Break dancing, I can describe is that is both in a point is improvisational because there is no exact steps that they perform but at the same choreographed in the point that if they are dancing in group they have to be precise with their steps in team. Break dancing was created in 1975, in the city of Bronx, New York, USA. On that years they were a lot of teenagers and kids that they were death or being in jail. So, breakdancing was affecting the community because the kids changing the fights or confrontation to wild acrobatic feats in the streets. They were on the streets but they were expressing what they were in the form
