Justice is a very broad term. When most people, and what I, think of justice in the context of the law they think paying a consequence equal to the law that they broke. In this case someone was murdered. You can not ever really find justice for someone’s life. Nothing will bring back the person that was killed. From all the protests that I have been to, rallies I have witnessed first hand, what I see in the media, when Breonna’s family and society say they want “justice” they mean that they want every action possible to be taken so that this doesn’t happen again and they also want to officers to be treated like the criminals they are. 1st-degree murder there needs to be three elements:willfulness, deliberation and premeditation, or in our words its a well thought out plan to kill someone. 2nd-degree murder requires that the defendant acted impulsively, and without premeditation, almost like a heat in the moment.



The problem is its both racially bias police officers or pre-established laws. There has been numerous cases where an officer kills an unarmed person of color. As well as the laws not being able to covered all bias. I would even say that sometimes some of these cases should be considered a hate crime simply because after usually seeing the body cams the police officers are heard saying inhume and racist remarks....
