Question 2: a. How could you ensure that medical terminology resources or checklists/documentation you have produced are accurate and relevant to the requirements of your practice? When creating the documents and checklists we can ensure that they are accurate and relevant by doing in depth research on spelling and the phonetic spelling and pronunciation of the topic, providing these on paper in a document and also even providing a staff work shop on medical terminology where we can sit down and say the words and ensure everyone is understanding the medical terminology. b. What would you do if you weren’t sure? If when reading documentations or checklists and I was unsure if they were accurate I would

seek clarification from other staff members or managers if necessary or I would do some research to ensure the spelling and pronunciation is correctly documented for all staff.

Question 3: a. What do you need to do to ensure that all staff member’s uses and interpret accurate medical terminology specific to a practice? Provide medical terminology checklists and documentation, doing performance appraisals and training days/sessions. Having one on one performance reviews, it is also important to regularly consult with staff when dealing with these tasks to seek clarification on their understanding....
