In the book “Catch Me if You Can” by Frank Abagnale with Stan Redding, Frank Abagnale is a young man that is originally from New York. At first his mom and dad are in love and on great terms but early on his dad loses his job. Due to his father losing his job his mother left him to be with a lawyer who makes more money. This causes Frank to change in behavior and he wants so badly for his father to win his mother back but it is to no prevail. Also due to his father’s low income frank begins to forge checks. He started by posing as a pan-am pilot and forging their checks. He would collect a mass amount of the toy pan-am planes and soak them in water so that he could easily peel off the sticker on the tail and put it on the check. While in France the FBI was still able to track him down. At first he was sentenced to jail time but then he pardoned under the agreement he would work for the FBI and help catch other people trying to commit bank fraud...
