1. Why do you think were most intellectual ideas controversial? -I think the most intellectual ideas that became controversial is Darwinian revolution, it is a theory of biological evolution developed by the Charles Darwin, stating that all species of organisms arise and develop through the natural selection of small, inherited variations that increase the individual's ability to compete, survive, and reproduce, and in this case this theory it against to the church’s because the people believe that the all species are makes of god according to the bible and so many debate that happen what is all species came from and it is confusing now because of the belief of this theory of Darwinian revolution. 2. Why did the people accept these new discoveries despite being contradictory to what was widely accepted at that time? -The people accept these new discoveries because the ideas is have a study a long time and have a facts that can make believe to the people and have a evidence at all, and even it is contradictory some people accept this because of that. 3. How do intellectual revolutions transform societies? -The intellectual revolutions transform societies it is because of science that the people experiment and try to think and create a technology that can help to the society and because of intellectual revolution the people change their perceptions in their life, the people is more knowledgeable and try new things to discover other things that can help our society 4.
