Answer the following questions in complete sentences: 1. Are you surprised about where you are spending most of your time? Explain. I’m not surprised because even though I’m productive during the day I’m still human and live life in the moment. Although I’m going to be working on being in more of the lasting zone, I have realized that the instant zone isn’t the best to be in constantly. I live life in the moment and try to relax after a stressful day. 2. Name one Instant Zone activity you can stop doing right now. Now, think of a Lasting Zone activity you can replace it with. I will stop being on social media as much and I’ll replace it with studying for school. The lasting zone like school will be a long-term solution and help with confidence and grades. 3. Write down one thing from your Instant Zone and explain why it is bad for you. Locate one online source that supports why it is bad for you. Be sure to include the link to the website. For example, you might find a website that shows drinking too much soda can help cause diabetes. One instant zone point that is bad for me would be being on social media for too long. Social media is toxic and is very stereotypical. I think I could become a less stressed person if I went on it for 20 to 30 minutes daily. For example (https://www.pewresearch.org/fact-tank/2020/10/15/64-of-americans-saysocial-media-have-a-mostly-negative-effect-on-the-way-things-are-going-in-the-u-s-today/) states about 2/3 Americans (64%) say social media have a negative effect on ourselves and the country today. 4. Write down one thing from Lasting Zone and explain why it is good for you. Locate one online source that supports why it is good for you. Be sure to include the link to the website. One thing that is good for me in the lasting zone is studying for classes. Studying makes you more prepared and educated for the topic you’re learning. You’re more likely to succeed is you put in the work and study. In (https://students.usask.ca/articles/study-skills.php) it states how studying is important and what the best method is the most successful....
