Class summary....
DRAW 115 21.11.16 END OF THE QUARTER REMINDERS - Make sure to update your pdf files if you’ve made any changes and want to resubmit ◼
It’s best if you submit them tonight (11/16) because Professor might not have time to properly look through them in the following days
-
Remember to submit 3 ELOs
-
Remember to submit everything to Dropbox → Final Submissions (8 files in total)
-
There’s a test (not mandatory) ◼ ◼
If your score is good, then it’ll be bonus points for your final grade If not, then “let’s pretend that didn’t happen”
◼
-
There’s a total of three tries. You can use up all the tries to improve your grade if you’re not happy about it For NEXT CLASS, it will be a Zoom class since it would be easier if everyone can just present from their computers. Professor will be in the classroom, so if you want to go to class, remember to bring your own laptop since the school computers don’t have camera and microphone. ◼
Professor wants to take a ‘group shot’ with zoom
A07 Presentation - Should be around three minutes - There should be a narrative ◼
What you want to focus on. What you want to tell the class about/through your drawings
-
There should be a title that matches your narrative There should NOT be too much text on the slides. Pictures, captions, and some key words
-
◼ What you want to talk about should be in speaker’s notes. Not in the presentation Don’t use templates! Keep everything yours! ◼
-
The design/layout doesn’t need to be complicated, as long as it adds to your drawings/narratives, and it can be whatever you want
◼ Use the design with purpose Reduce repeated information Can leave out some works, but there should be at least 3 or 4 of them...
