3-2 activity: Color and Typography Elizabeth Marston COM 229 Southern New Hampshire University
For happiness, I wanted to draw something that makes me happy, or what makes me think of being happy. I couldn’t draw a beach, so I drew a flower with bright colors. A sunflower. Sunflowers always face the sun, and the sun makes us all happy! Yellow is a happy color as well.
For anger, I drew a raging fire. I know when I’m mad, or angry, I’m a big ball of fire. I chose red and orange as my color to represent this since those two colors are associated with anger.
For peace, I drew a dove. Dove’s usually represent love and peace. I actually have one tattooed on me for my late brother, his favorite song was “Free Bird.” I used blue as a color since it is a peaceful color.
I didn’t use typography because words cannot represent these emotions. I used elements such as lines, color, and shapes to put these emotions together.
