Comparing Microsoft PowerPoint and Prezi is like comparing with green pear with brown pear even though belong from the same family. Which Microsoft PowerPoint programs there is not much to juggle with whereas Prezi there is very much to juggle to make a great presentation. Any presentation program will have the 5 common features whether it is Microsoft PowerPoint or Prezi these are: Slide Masters Slides Animation Transitions Slide Notes Slide masters is the top slides in a hierarchy of slides that stores information about the theme & slides layout of a presentation, including background, color, fonts, effects, placeholder sizes and positioning. All presentation has a slide master. The main difference between a Microsoft PowerPoint and Prezi that it is a Non-Linear it allows the user to present from point A to point B with multiple paths with Prezi gives the unlimited whereas Microsoft PowerPoint has only limited canvas on which layout the ideas. In comparison with Microsoft PowerPoint and Prezi there is things in which the user may or may not like it. To use Prezi and Microsoft PowerPoint offline purchase is required, though Prezi is considered to be costly than PowerPoint. With Prezi, the user cannot print out the slides which leads that audience won’t be able to take notes or even for reference purpose whereas with PowerPoint the user the able to print out the slides. PowerPoint is very user friendly which Prezi is a bit tweaking to make user friendly which Prezi lose their position in this with Microsoft PowerPoint. In my own opinion, they both fail to meet my expectation in terms of accessing it offline, I wouldn’t want to be paying big dollars for all this. Looking in terms of user friendly Microsoft PowerPoint would be my choice and very simple & straight forward to use. If I am doing a presentation I will be able to print out the slides for my audience for them use as in reference....
