The World Health Organization is discouraging and calling on a moratorium on the genetic modifications of humans as they believe it is unethical to do so under the current scenario due to the lack of regulatory authorities and proper regulations in many countries (Molteni, 2020) . Lack of transparency has also played a major role in consumer associations around the world to not accept scientific advancements of genome editing, one example can be seen around Genetically modified organism foods (GMO). Genetically Modified Organism Foods(GMO) Despite the fact that GMOs have been around for as far back as 2 decades with no ill symptoms. The consumer association of “Centre of Food Integrity'' expressed that consumers were still in dismay and against GMO nourishments simply because most of the logical creation part stayed quiet about and there is no straightforwardness (Arnot, 2020) . Consumers from Malaysia also have a limited understanding and are unfamiliar with GMO foods which has led to the low confidence level so therefore they are unwilling to try GM foods.The results from different national wide studies have indicated that informative reinforcement, learning history and attitude towards food concern are the factors that influence consumers’ willingness to try genetically modified food. So therefore the Education and Research association of consumers Malaysia (ERA) emphasized on the significance of clear and precise naming GM food ingredients and other genetically modified foods and also Access to essential data that could influence consumers health and wellbeing (Press Release by SEACON, 2020) . As this will increase Malaysian consumers trust towards GM foods, Medical Progress And Consumer Rights As far as genetic engineering is concerned, there have been calls for stringent and comprehensive sustainability impact studies to be carried out regarding any implementation of genetic engineering activities in food and agriculture as well as in other fields such as healthcare. As far as healthcare is concerned, there is under-investment in this sector by the government and has dire consequences to the welfare of the Malaysian consumer. Most of the private hospitals are owned by Government-linked companies and they focus more on making huge profits. Therefore,

the Federation of Malaysian Consumers Associations - (FOMCA) also hopes that more effective regulatory measures are put in place to control prices in private hospitals. 1.3 Against or For Halo chip? Even though many consumer associations around the world consider genome editing as unethical and dangerous but however the use of The halo chip will outweigh benefits in regards to costs .According to One of the consequentialist normative theories, Utilitarianism, which is also known as the greatest happiness principle, suggests that an action is morally right if it results in the greatest amount of good for the greatest number of people affected by the action. Based on cost-benefit analysis, the actions should be such that they should benefit the greatest number of people when compared to the cost incurred (Quinton, 1989).According to principles of Utilitarianism, for the greatest amount of adequate results,FOMCA will consider the use of Halo Chip very essential as it can help improve the lives of millions of Malaysians leading to a sustainable and healthy future Salience Model Salience Model is an essential tool for use during stakeholder analysis with circle maps stakeholders of power, urgency and legitimacy. In this scenario, Power is the most prominent element since the Consumer Association of Penang can easily pressurize the government of Malaysia with the exercise of its impactful tactics. CAP carries out various research, educational and representational activities in order to influence policy makers to give priority to basic needs. The CAP hosts annual seminars usually involving  trategies used by the CAP include 50 speakers- on all aspects of a specific topic. S giving knowledge about certain products or production practices to consumers which will discourage the sale of a certain product which will ultimately reduce the production of that commodity. ‘Giving a voice to the little people’ is the motto of CAP and the organization’s main concern is ensuring the right of every consumer. Therefore, it will use the power of people collectively to influence all the stakeholders. It can do so by calling on the Ministry of Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs to carry out an immediate investigation into the unjustified prices of commodities deemed exorbitant. CAP started hosting its seminars on environment in 1971. Due to its efforts, the Ministry of Environment was formed which was in fact testified by the M  inister Datuk Amar Stephen Yong. Therefore, the CAP has been a groundbreaking initiative to protect the climate in Malaysia.
