• Mandates: the purpose of a company/organization or the objectives they have • Economics: the funding of content (gov, commercial purposes, the audience, etc) e.g: How Disney (a huge cooperation) produce their content is different from how a small studio does
Legacy media: Media industries, including newspaper, radio, television, cinema, broadcasting & music that existed prior to the widespread adaptation of digital technologies & the internet
Industrialization of creativity
Circumscribed agency: The assumption that the choices made aren't wholly our own, but neither are they imposed on (taken advantage of) us by outside forces
