David Bastien Operation Management The layout strategy of a place like a restaurant can affect a person's experience of the place can be many things such as spacing, atmosphere and integration of people's needs .The way spaces can have an impact on the experience in a positive way is if the restaurant for example had a lot of room to move around, space between tables, no one right on top of each other this can make a person feel at home or relaxed that they can enjoy their time there without feeling weird with all the confusion going on .The negative aspects of space and is that the place lack good spacing required to make a person like myself feel welcomed into the business and want to enter and bring my business there.Having good spacing means if a company wants to expand the place the can already do so because they have the room to do so or it's a redesign. Another example is atmosphere,if the place doesn't feel warm and inviting to customers to come in and enjoy.Also if it does have good lighting so that they can its not a creepy place for them to bring their business or either dine there.Another example is the integration of people's needs ,aka if they have enough table for a legal full restaurant ,if there is a bar and good service from the wait staff...
