Older people are a very important baggage of knowledge for young people. Thanks to them we can become aware of facts that, it's true, we could also read in books or on the internet but through their stories we can feel the past events closer. I think lucky are the people who still have their grandparents alive and can be close to them because they can still hear those wonderful stories of the past years. Obviously someone could also say that "the stories of the past" can also be found on the internet, through technology. I am not an extremist in my decision, I think both elderly people and today's technologies are very important to know the past. Also older people are essential thanks to their advice we can learn a lot. On the other hand, technologies also play a prominent role among young people even if you don't always get good things from the internet. In conclusion I can say that with almost equal importance, I would always prefer to turn to an elderly person for advice or to have him tell me a story from the past....
