What is EDI? “EDI” stands for Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion. Incorporating EDI in the workplace helps us ensure fair treatment and remove prejudice based on an individual’s characteristics.

Equity… acknowledges that some groups are disproportionately disadvantaged in accessing resources and opportunities, and focuses on removing the barriers to access.

Diversity… recognizes, respects, and celebrates the ways that people are both alike and different.

Inclusion… creates an environment where all individuals are invited, engaged, and valued for their unique skills, experiences, and perspectives, and have equal access to opportunities and resources.
