Romeo And Juliet-Act 2 Questions Scene 5 Question 1 - Juliet is very impatient to hear news from Romeo (lines 1-17). What images does she use in her soliloquy to express this? The image that she uses in her soliloquy to express this was an image that had birds lifting her. Also, it is trying to say that a lover's messenger should be gliding ten times faster than the sun's beams driving back shadows over a hill, and that they should be swift like cupid's wings because lovers need the news fast. Question 2 - The nurse knows Juliet is impatient, but she keeps putting her off. Why do those nurses do this? She is teasing Juliet, and maybe she is trying to see how much Juliet really wants to see Romeo. The nurse also wants to know how much Juliet loves Romeo. Question 3 - Why does the Nurse agree to help Juliet marry Romeo? Juliet’s nurse agrees to help her secretly marry Romeo because she loves Juliet and cares about her, she also wants her to be happy, and she knows she loves Romeo and not Paris. Nurse tries to explain to Juliet that she is better dating Paris, because Paris is a gentleman. Juliet refuses, though, and Nurse wants to do whatever Juliet wants. She has raised Juliet from a baby, and since she has no children of her own she treats Juliet as if she was her daughter....
