EXECUTIVE SUMMARY



Company name is "Lawo Florist Shop". Lawo Florist Shop was founded in 1st January 2019 based on Kuala Lumpur. Sell a variety of fresh flowers and make flower arrangements. We accept various types of bookings for birthdays, wedding anniversaries, weddings, and big event.



Lawo Florist Shop has a total of six staff are working at the shop, consisting of a manager of the company, finance division manager, an operation assistant, a cashier, customer service and consisting floristry.



Manager / owner and also head of the flower arrangement division of this company is named Athirah, can call her Miss Thira’s. She is 26 years old and has business experience since childhood. She was born in Johor but raised in Kuala Lumpur. Our finance division manager is Miss Mina, she was a finance manager.



An operation assistant is from Bangi, Selangor she’s name is Miss Aina and she’s born at Pahang. Cashier name is Miss Bibi, she has many experiences because she has work for 6 years work as cashier at Singapore. Lastly is our customer service named Miss Ilyana, she was come from Malacca.

1.0 INTRODUCTION 1.1 History of Company Company name is "Lawo Florist Shop". Lawo Florist Shop was founded in 1st January 2019 based on Kuala Lumpur. Sell a variety of fresh flowers and make flower arrangements. Doing for customers booking for all type event and included six staff. 1.2 Summary current problem After several years of operating in Kuala Lumpur, we found that sales in our stores declined, causing us to incur more losses. Therefore, after researching in more depth, we found that there are some problems that cause losses in our store, namely in terms of damaged flowers because equipment such as refrigerators for flower storage are not enough and the store surroundings is disorganized and unattractive. 1.3 Summary proposed project We plan to hold promotions to attract more customers to come to the store. In addition, to prevent the flowers from being damaged and withered, we buy electrical items such as refrigerators to give freshness to the fresh flowers. In addition, buy store equipment to make the layout neater and more orderly for the arrangement of fresh flowers to attract customers. 1.4 Summary anticipated benefits Through this benefit, customers will get various promotions in our store if they buy on the date set by us. Therefore, we will also be able to add a few more refrigerators to place fresh flowers in our store as a result of the profit after receiving many customer purchases. Customers also do not have to worry about the freshness of the flowers. Our store also provides convenience to customers who come to buy flowers in our store that is always in a neat and orderly condition. 1.5 Purpose of the proposal The purpose is to make a profit on the company and capital to renovate the store and buy new equipment. Able to prevent the company from suffering large losses due to many damaged flowers and also to prevent our store from going down. We also want our customers to taste various types of fresh flowers at affordable prices. Lastly is to get back the money that has come out to upgrade this store.

2.0 PROBLEM OF STATEMENT

2.1 Risk to the flowers will be damaged and wither When the demand for flowers is not exhausted and the stock of fresh flowers is still plentiful and causes the risk to the fresh flowers will wither and be damaged. In addition, this risk has given a loss to the company. Therefore, the unpredictable weather conditions will cause fresh flower also give risk to the suppliers will take time to send flower stock to Lawo Florist Shop.

2.2 Lack of electrical equipment Lack of electrical appliances such as refrigerators for storing fresh flowers in Lawo Florists Shop will cause fresh flowers to wither and be damaged as fresh flowers should be in the refrigerator for at least six hours as the fresh flowers can absorb water and last longer.

2.3 Surroundings at Lawo’s Florist Shop give less interest customer Less attractive environment such as the situation in the store is quite fibrous and the layout in the store is irregular, wall paint in the store is not attractive and does not meet the tastes of customers will cause customers difficult to come to the store and the possibility of loss and customer arrival will be reduced.

3.0 GOALS AND OBJECTIVES Goals 3.1 To attract customers when promotions are held. Objectives a. To raise store profits when doing promotions during early year promotions, birthday promotions, interest day promotions. b. To attract customers to come to the store when promotions are held. c. To introduce the existence of a fresh flower shop in the center of Kuala Lumpur and at the same time be able to attract customers.

3.2 To buy store equipment items such as a refrigerator for storing flowers that will be fresh for a long time. Objectives a. To ensure equipment and stock will be more neatly organized and better maintained. b. To assist and increase store sales, and orders from customers when floristry equipment is sufficient. c. To identify queries of customers, interact with customers, answer the queries of customers, resolve service issues, enhance customer experience and foster relationships, improve credibility and create customer loyalty.

3.3 To elevate the surrounding of the store by changing the layout of the store, the colour of the store and making advertising on social media. Objectives a. To attract the attention and views of the customer when the surroundings of the store have changed and to attract the tastes of the customers when the store looks more exclusive. b. To raise the taste of customers because the goods, products and service in Lawo Florist Shop are more quality. c. To attract customers when advertisements can be made on social media as well as new banners about new products, store existence and promotions. 7

4.0 DESCRIPTION OF BUSINESS

Proposed here for Lawo florist shop is focused on attracting customers by placing beautiful flowers like Tulip Rose, Hydrangea, Lisianthus and Gloriosa which are rare and very valuable. The flowers are not for sale but for display. This is to attract all generation of customers to do a photo shoot or outfit of the day (OOTD) with those attractive flowers, our store can make a competition such as the most beautiful picture captured will be rewarded, this will make our shop goes in trend and viral. More customer will visit our store at the same time the store will be very famous for its uniqueness, our store not only sells flowers, featuring rare flowers but we also add more knowledge for customers about flowers such as putting name label for each flower, signage about tips on how to care for flowers and pros and cons of loving every flowers. For now, our shop only has a walk-in flower service, to be proposed, by upgrading our shop system services, we will be providing delivery service to ease customer way better by choosing flowers online by using transportation apps such as LalaMove, Grab and others. Lastly, to be proposed, we wanted to collaborate with boutiques such as weddings boutiques to use fresh flowers as a decoration for the weddings theme. This will give lots of benefits to make our shop more well-known, having more contacts and will generate a very profitable income. 4.1 Operation hours’ time Below are the operating hours for ‘Lawo Florist Shop’: (Monday - Thursday)

= 10 a.m. - 10 p.m.

(Friday& Public Holidays) = Off day (Saturday&Sunday)

= 9 a.m. - 10 p.m.

Flowers have to be taken care of very carefully so, good time management is very much emphasized in flower care. Off day is the day where will be doing spring-clean to our shop.

4.2 Florist service Our shop is selling many kind of fresh flowers and make flowers floristry. We accept various types of bookings for birthdays, wedding anniversaries, valentine and gift. We mostly will wrap the flowers into bouquet. Other than that, we also make decoration for any events using fresh flowers. 4.3 Equipment layout Items needed to be included is floral tape, floral wire, vases, floral foam, preservatives to keep the flowers fresh, cards and plastic card holders, tape, ribbon, scissors, knife, floral tape and a stapler. We have a big fridge to store the flowers, this is to maintain the freshness of the flowers. Next is the counters to handling finances. There is also a table and sitting in the lobby area. 4.4 Location The address for our store is Taman Cheras, Kuala Lumpur, Wilayah Persekutuan Kuala Lumpur, 56100.The position of our store is very strategic. Our store is located in the heart of Kuala Lumpur. Our store area is a pedestrian area. The target buyers for our store are regardless of age and gender. 4.5 Staff in company Our store has 6 staff. We have a total of six staff working at the shop, consisting of a manager of the company, finance division manager, an operation assistant, a cashier, customer service and consisting florist. Other than that, attire prepared for our staff is a cap, an apron and pair of gloves.

5.1 Grand Total Cost The estimated amount used per month is RM 19,898.20 and per year is RM 250,778.40. Cost estimates for each month will change as according to the spring.

6.0 ANTICIPATED RESULT / BENEFITS:

All employees at Lawo Florist Shop expressed a strong interest in helping to improve the company's services. The services we provide help them cheer up others such as giving surprises, wedding anniversaries, valentines, and gifts. The proposed Lawo Florist Shop business would: 6.1 Able to introduce our store and the services provided to customers. •

Our store became known to the public due to the strategic position of our store.



The company's sales will increase and give a lot of profit from the proceeds of promoting the store on television, social media, or other media and giving discounts to buyers.

6.2 Complete electrical equipment. •

The complete equipment in the store is arranged in an orderly manner to provide comfort for the customers present and make it easier for employees to complete flower arrangement orders. The atmosphere in the store attracts visitors and buyers with a variety of fresh flowers.



In addition, the quality of fresh flowers in the store can be well maintained and protected from damage.

6.3 The surrounding in the store is improved. •

The surrounding of the store will be improved in terms of the layout of the store and also the color of the store.



The customers who come in did not feel any frustration if they saw the store in a disorganized and cluttered state.

6.3 Provide skills opportunities to employees. •

Employees can have the opportunity to learn the skills of changing flowers with pleasure when the equipment in the store is complete.



They are also trained to promote our store in addition to serving the customers in attendance.

7.0 CONCLUSION

In conclusion, the Lawo Florist Shop proposal was well received. Our store provides a variety of attractive fresh flower arrangements. The changes made to our store began to be known to the public and attracted the attention of various customers from various positions and ages. In addition, our store was successfully promoted on various social media such as Facebook, Instagram, and also through the Lawo Florist Shop website and managed to generate profits that multiplied every year. Although initially there were some problems at the store such as lack of electrical equipment, surroundings at Lawo Florist Shop give less customer interest and risk on interest. However, the freshness of the flowers can be taken care of well and quality as well as reduce the risk such as easy wilting. All facilities and equipment are also added to give pleasure to employees to complete orders or so on. We hope that this Lawo Florist store will open a new branch and be better known in and outside the country. Customers will be more environmentally friendly when appreciating fresh flowering plants. It is also an advantage to the store to make a worthwhile profit, give employees opportunities, and teaching employees to be more skilled.
