The Texas Governor has many powers from being the governor. The governors’ legislative powers include Approving or vetoing a bill that was passed from the Texas legislature. When it comes to the budgetary powers of the Texas governor, they are able to execute the budget in order to manage the states situations while the legislature is not working. The governor’s appointive action is by making policy recommendations. The governor also appoints a secretary of state and members of the board. The judicial powers of the governor are to convene the legislature, Commander in chief of the state’s military forces, and grant or denying recommendations for clemency. Lastly, the military powers of the Texas governor are to direct the legislative branch and the executive branch of the state government and is the commander in chief of the Texas military forces. Texas governors can use the informal powers of speech and networking to accomplish their goals. Texas governors must also be able to communicate with a wide range of political actors. The governor has many policies but one of the more important ones deals with is making the agenda of the legislature special sessions. Governor Abbott has been a huge role model for Texas and the people of Texas for a very long time. He has taken him time out to really sit down and care about the Texas citizens and community. His loyalty doesn’t just stop at the citizens of Texas

or even his co-workers. Abbott really takes out the time to listen to Texas and do the best things for Texas no matter what they are. Governor Greg Abbott has been named the best governor in the nation. He uses his power. Governor Abbott is currently the 48th governor of Texas. Governor Abbott uses his role of power to fight for and preserve Texas values. Abbott estimates the amounts of money required by the taxation. Governor Abbott also grants reprieves of punishment and pardon of the recommendations of the boards of pardons and paroles and revoking pardons. Abbott can also declare special elections in order to fill vacancies in different elected offices. Lastly, Governor Abbott can also appoint Texans to state offices to carry out everyday jobs that need to be done. Some of these jobs are very important and can only be filled by appointment only, Abbott can also appoint individuals to do a huge range of task forces to assist him in many different tasks. Abbott has a long running history with Texas, before becoming governor he was the longest serving attorney general of Texas, and he was a judge in Harris County. Abbott has been dedicated to Texas for as long as I can remember. From when he was a Texas native, to him graduating in Texas, and then ending off with his dream career in Texas. Governor Abbott always has a plan and knew what he wanted to do for Texas, He wants to ensure that the lone star state continues to be a great place to raise your family, build businesses, and just have great opportunities overall....
